Women’s Apparel Technical Designer New City, NY (Near Monsey) Full-Time | In-Person $80k-100k+ Our client, a women’s clothing company, is looking for an experienced Technical Designer to join their team. This individual will play a key role in the design, development, and production process, working closely with overseas factories to ensure designs are accurately executed from concept through production. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, technologically savvy, and experienced in technical design and garment construction. They should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with others in a fast-paced office environment. Responsibilities - Create and manage detailed tech packs for women’s clothing. - Communicate regularly with overseas factories regarding designs, specifications, samples, revisions, and production requirements. - Oversee various aspects of the design, development, and manufacturing process. - Review samples, identify necessary adjustments, and communicate corrections to factories. - Ensure designs are accurately translated into finished garments. - Manage multiple projects while staying organized and meeting production deadlines. Requirements - Previous experience in technical design for women’s clothing. - Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, fabrics, and production processes. - Hands-on experience creating and working with tech packs. - Proven experience communicating directly with overseas factories throughout the sampling and production process. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
