Property Operations Coordinator | Five Towns, NY $55,000-$80,000 About the Role A growing property management company is seeking a highly organized and proactive Property Operations Coordinator to serve as the central point of communication and coordination between tenants, property managers, and on-site teams. This is an administrative operations role for someone who can keep things moving, stay on top of follow-ups, coordinate day-to-day property needs, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. This is a full-time, office-based position in the Five Towns. The coordinator works from the office and coordinates with field staff; this is not a field position. Key Responsibilities Serving as the main point of contact for tenant communications, inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups. Coordinating between property managers, building supers, porters, and other on-site staff to ensure issues are addressed promptly. Following up on open maintenance requests, tenant concerns, and outstanding building-related matters. Supporting property managers with day-to-day administrative and operational needs. Managing lease documentation, renewals, tenant records, and related paperwork. Tracking rent payments, security deposits, accounts receivable, and payment-related inquiries. Maintaining organized records and ensuring tasks and outstanding items are followed through to completion. Coordinating building operations and communicating with field staff from the office. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple moving pieces and keep different parties accountable. Comfortable communicating with tenants, property managers, and on-site building staff.
