A growing outpatient mental health practice in New York is looking for a project-based technical lead to connect our whole patient journey safely and make it HIPAA compliant. You will work directly with the founder. What you will do: Build out and secure our existing patient web app and website so they meet HIPAA rules. Connect the website, forms, the CRM (GoHighLevel) and our practice management system (AdvancedMD) so leads and patients move smoothly from first click to booked visit. Set up and clean up Google Tag Manager and tracking so no patient information is ever sent to ad or analytics tools. Set up safe staff logins (individual accounts, two-step sign-in) and access controls. Document what you build so the team can run it. You should have: Real experience with HIPAA in a healthcare setting (business associate agreements, access controls, audit logs). Web apps (React or similar) and WordPress. Google Tag Manager and web tracking, and knowing what must not be tracked in healthcare. GoHighLevel or a similar CRM, and ideally AdvancedMD or another EHR integration (APIs). Clear, plain communication. You can explain things simply to a non-technical owner. Details: Project-based contract, starting with one first project (secure and connect what we already have), with more work possible. You will be asked to sign a HIPAA business associate agreement before touching any systems. To apply, send your resume and two examples of similar healthcare or HIPAA work. Please do not include any patient information in your application. Rate depends on experience. Remote or hybrid; candidates in the New York area (Rockland County NY, Westchester, New Jersey) preferred.
