Job Description A remote, part-time Accountant is sought to support tax and accounting work for a growing practice. Well suited to someone comfortable working independently, managing deadlines, and handling client tax work with accuracy and care. Responsibilities Prepare and review individual and business tax returns Work in UltraTax and Drake to prepare, file, and track returns Maintain accurate client records and supporting workpapers Assist with tax planning, estimates, and compliance deadlines Communicate clearly on outstanding items and filing status Requirements Proven accounting experience, preferably with tax preparation UltraTax — required Drake — required Strong knowledge of tax rules, forms, and filing requirements Reliable, organized, and able to meet seasonal deadlines
