Director of Strategic Operations Location: Brooklyn, NY Salary: $250K Position Overview A growing company supplying remodeling and reconstruction products to the hospitality industry is seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to work directly with the owner and drive the company's next stage of growth. Responsibilities Work directly with the owner to develop and execute the company's growth strategy. Recruit and lead a sales leader, build the sales team, and establish sales goals and accountability. Oversee and grow the purchasing department. Expand the vendor network, strengthen supplier relationships, and negotiate better pricing and terms. Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth. Develop processes and reporting systems to improve efficiency and support continued growth. Qualifications Proven experience in strategic operations, business growth, or a similar leadership role. Experience building and managing sales teams. Strong purchasing, sourcing, vendor management, and negotiation skills. Background in building products, construction supply, hospitality supply, or a related B2B industry preferred. Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and execution skills. Self-motivated, decisive, and comfortable working directly with ownership in a growing business.
