Overview We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team at our Brooklyn office. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing corporate tax returns and personal returns, along with a strong understanding of corporate closings. Responsibilities Prepare corporate tax returns and personal returns. Assist with corporate closings. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and ProSeries. Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate financial reporting. Prepare and review individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns Manage multiple tax engagements and deadlines Review tax work prepared by junior staff Assist with tax planning, projections, and tax research Communicate directly with clients and address tax-related questions Stay current on federal, state, and local tax developments Requirements 3+ years of public accounting tax experience Strong experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local taxation Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and Quickbooks. Familiarity with Google applications. Strong knowledge of corporate tax returns. Location This position is based in Brooklyn, New York.
