Required skills Your skills should include: Strong executive-level communication skills Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries Develop machine learning applications according to requirements R or Python programming Expertise deploying machine learning algorithms for solving real world problems 7. At least two years of data science / predictive analytics experience or more in a commercial setting (non-academic, usually non-government) Familiarity with a variety structured and unstructured databases Familiarity working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure or similar) An ability to learn and acquire new skills quickly Thinking creatively outside the box about predictive analytics and problem solving Ideal background 1. Experience implementing and data collection & analysis projects 2. Experience implementing data visualization projects 3. Experience implementing predictive analytics models in a commercial / production setting 4. Command of data mining and predictive analysis 5. MS degree or an equivalent level of experience in a quantitative field 6. An active blog, publications or GitHub repository demonstrating a portfolio of code and projects 7. Demonstrated R/Python expertise (based on a coding test during the interview process)
