Warm, easygoing family in Airmont (Rockland County) is looking for a live-in housekeeper who takes pride in a clean, calm home. This is mainly a housekeeping job: cleaning, laundry, keeping the house tidy, and some light cooking. Our three kids (ages 3, 5 and 8) are in school all day. When they come home, Mom is there and takes care of them. You'd babysit only now and then, about a couple of hours a week in total, sometimes on an evening when we go out. The job is about 44 hours a week, Monday to Saturday, with Sunday off (flexible). Most of the work gets done while the kids are at school. Once the day's housework is done, your time is truly your own: rest, go out, run errands. Any extra hours are paid extra.
