Serve as the central point of coordination for the accounting department, ensuring AP, AR, Staff Accounting, and Payroll functions provide complete, accurate, and timely financial information
Review accounting activity across the department, identify errors, omissions, unreconciled items, and process gaps, and maintain the integrity of the general ledger in accordance with GAAP and company policies
Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and identify issues, trends, and areas requiring management attention
Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, audits, and other financial reporting requirements
Develop and improve accounting processes, internal controls, workflows, and reporting procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Assist with acquisitions, integrations, entity consolidations, and special projects while serving as a senior accounting resource within a growing accounting department
Qualifications:

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to create and maintain detailed schedules
Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency
Team leader with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Prior experience in an Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, or similarly hands-on role within a growing organization strongly preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
$120,000-$190,000+ (based on experience)
Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding healthcare organization
Collaborative and team-oriented accounting department
Significant career advancement opportunities as the company continues to scale
